The accumulated noise contours can be modelled using a modelling and prediction software. The predictive noise resultswillbeillustratedin2- dimensional noise contours superimposed on the equipment layout or plot plan. The noise contours will be analysed to determine if the noise levels exceed the compliance criteria. Noise attenuation due to the presence of firewalls , buildings and enclosures is considered in the assessment to give a realistic representation of conditions on a facility.
