The concentrated level of activity that takes place during the construction, installation, Hook up and Commissioning/De-commissioning of major hazard facilities can contribute significantly to the lifetime risks for the facility. During these phases it is common for several sub-contractors to be working in parallel at certain times. The hazards presented by these specialist activities and concurrent work programs require specialist knowledge to identify, assess the mitigate the risks that arise from them. PRISM’s specialists review the activities being conducted and construction schedule of all contractors to ensure that the complete spectrum of hazards is addressed.
